Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.97%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 1.62% or 1.0 points to trade at 62.6 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.24% or 0.47 points to end at 38.36 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.09% or 1.80 points to 167.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.29% or 1.90 points to trade at 34.00 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.23% or 4.60 points to end at 138.00 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was down 2.77% or 5.1 points to 179.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 471 to 237 and 80 ended unchanged.
Shares in Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) rose to 5-year lows; up 1.62% or 1.0 to 62.6.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.20% or 0.55 to $46.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.98% or 0.47 to hit $48.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.05 to trade at $1268.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.36% to 9.7965, while USD/SEK rose 0.32% to 8.7441.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.22.
