Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.75% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 4.57% or 11.00 points to trade at 251.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) added 1.78% or 0.92 points to end at 52.62 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.75% or 3.00 points to 174.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which fell 5.15% or 5.70 points to trade at 104.90 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.98% or 1.72 points to end at 41.48 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 2.99% or 6.2 points to 201.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 386 to 297 and 102 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.55% or 0.26 to $47.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.42% or 0.21 to hit $49.49 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.76 to trade at $1245.76 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 9.5727, while USD/SEK fell 0.92% to 8.2276.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 94.04.
