Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.58% or 1.25 points to trade at 49.65 at the close. Meanwhile, SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.66% or 0.62 points to end at 38.02 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was up 1.46% or 1.90 points to 131.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which fell 6.32% or 6.90 points to trade at 102.20 at the close. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.19% or 11.0 points to end at 916.5 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) was down 1.03% or 1.3 points to 125.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 369 to 310 and 74 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.46% or 1.90 to 131.90.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $48.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.10% or 0.05 to hit $51.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.45 to trade at $1228.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 9.4767, while USD/SEK rose 0.03% to 8.8222.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 100.13.
