Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 0.97% or 1.7 points to trade at 177.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.94% or 2.5 points to end at 268.2 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.37% or 0.70 points to 191.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 2.77% or 1.68 points to trade at 58.92 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.56% or 2.40 points to end at 151.20 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 1.51% or 3.0 points to 195.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 295 to 290 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.77% or 1.68 to 58.92. Shares in Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.37% or 0.70 to 191.60.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.11% or 0.05 to $44.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.64% or 0.78 to hit $46.85 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.36% or 18.05 to trade at $1344.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.5231, while USD/SEK fell 1.10% to 8.4749.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.81% at 94.96.
