Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.16% or 6.0 points to trade at 283.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.30% or 1.15 points to end at 89.90 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 0.96% or 0.29 points to 30.42 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 2.16% or 3.50 points to trade at 158.80 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 1.19% or 1.60 points to end at 133.10 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 1.09% or 1.20 points to 108.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 338 to 337 and 106 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.90% or 1.32 to $44.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 2.93% or 1.41 to hit $46.70 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.06% or 12.98 to trade at $1210.32 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.29% to 9.6159, while USD/SEK fell 0.06% to 8.4363.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 95.82.
