Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.65% or 1.70 points to trade at 104.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) added 1.34% or 2.2 points to end at 166.2 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.26% or 7.0 points to 561.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.79% or 0.45 points to trade at 24.63 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 1.36% or 0.64 points to end at 46.53 and SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) was down 1.08% or 1.5 points to 137.9.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 312 to 274 and 56 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.87% or 0.84 to $44.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.76% or 0.83 to hit $46.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.32% or 4.25 to trade at $1327.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.30% to 9.5416, while USD/SEK fell 0.73% to 8.4657.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 95.22.
