Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.68% or 6.5 points to trade at 249.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) added 2.34% or 1.37 points to end at 60.02 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 2.23% or 20.0 points to 918.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which fell 6.02% or 13.3 points to trade at 207.6 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.16% or 5.90 points to end at 267.00 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 1.36% or 0.50 points to 36.14.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 392 to 281 and 88 ended unchanged.
Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.68% or 6.5 to 249.1.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.12% or 0.06 to $50.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.28% or 0.15 to hit $53.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.35 to trade at $1245.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 9.5579, while USD/SEK fell 0.04% to 8.9380.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 100.19.
