Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 2.49% or 6.9 points to trade at 284.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 1.84% or 2.40 points to end at 132.80 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.74% or 5.3 points to 310.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 2.59% or 0.94 points to trade at 35.40 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.75% or 1.2 points to end at 67.3 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.11% or 1.54 points to 136.66.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 397 to 326 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.42% or 0.20 to $47.63 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.25% or 0.13 to hit $52.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.33 to trade at $1296.33 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.28% to 9.4931, while USD/SEK fell 0.91% to 7.9933.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 92.70.
