· Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock rose 0.57% as of 8:21 AM ET (12:21 GMT) after CEO Tim Cook said in a Vice New interview that a privacy breach of the company wouldn’t happen, while taking aim at tech companies who have built a business off of consumer data.
· Canopy Growth (NYSE:CGC) stock increased 1.7% after the company announced one of its units was partnering with Ontario Long Term Care Association to test the use of medical marijuana on treating pain and cognitive function in seniors.
· Lennar (NYSE:LEN) stock jumped 1.50% after the company reported higher-than-expected revenue and adjusted earnings per share of $1.61.
· Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) stock gained 0.9% after reports that James Murdoch, board member and chief executive officer of 21st Century Fox, has been floated as a successor to Elon Musk as chairman.
· General Motors (NYSE:GM) stock surged 6% after the company announced it is teaming up with Honda to develop and build an autonomous vehicle.
