Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 3.79% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 25.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Halwani Bros (SE:6001) fell 0.47% or 0.20 points to end at 42.50 and Yanbu Cement Co. (SE:3060) was down 0.58% or 0.20 points to 34.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 10.28% or 0.55 points to trade at 4.80 at the close. Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) declined 10.19% or 2.45 points to end at 21.60 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was down 10.19% or 2.65 points to 23.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 169 to 0.
Shares in Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) fell to all time lows; falling 10.28% or 0.55 to 4.80. Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.47% or 0.20 to 42.50. Shares in Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) fell to 5-year lows; falling 10.19% or 2.45 to 21.60. Shares in Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) fell to 5-year lows; falling 10.19% or 2.65 to 23.35.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.87% or 1.32 to $44.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.84% or 1.36 to hit $46.57 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.80% or 10.75 to trade at $1333.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.45% to 4.2018, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 95.51.
