Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Industrial Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which rose 4.08% or 1.60 points to trade at 40.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240) added 2.43% or 0.90 points to end at 38.00 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was up 1.52% or 0.20 points to 13.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220), which fell 7.26% or 1.10 points to trade at 14.05 at the close. Middle East Paper Co (SE:1202) declined 5.33% or 0.90 points to end at 16.00 and Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002) was down 4.70% or 7.00 points to 142.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 136 to 22 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $51.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $54.14 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.01 to trade at $1252.49 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 4.1987, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 97.22.
