Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which rose 6.63% or 1.20 points to trade at 19.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) added 6.53% or 0.80 points to end at 13.05 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) was up 3.20% or 1.10 points to 35.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010), which fell 4.46% or 1.50 points to trade at 32.10 at the close. Alinma Bank (SE:1150) declined 2.67% or 0.40 points to end at 14.60 and Sahara (SE:2260) was down 2.53% or 0.40 points to 15.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.18% or 0.61 to $52.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.62% or 0.34 to hit $55.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.65 to trade at $1255.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.49% to 3.9716, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 101.08.
