Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which rose 6.83% or 1.00 points to trade at 15.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) added 6.09% or 0.85 points to end at 14.80 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) was up 3.49% or 0.55 points to 16.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210), which fell 4.62% or 6.00 points to trade at 123.75 at the close. Al Hammadi Co (SE:4007) declined 3.21% or 1.30 points to end at 39.20 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was down 2.51% or 0.35 points to 13.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 84 to 64 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.61% or 0.71 to $43.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.41% or 0.65 to hit $45.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.61% or 8.10 to trade at $1323.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.1155, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 97.50.
