Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200), which rose 9.95% or 1.00 points to trade at 11.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150) added 6.16% or 1.10 points to end at 18.95 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was up 3.06% or 0.35 points to 11.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190), which fell 7.73% or 0.85 points to trade at 10.15 at the close. Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) declined 2.38% or 0.90 points to end at 36.90 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was down 2.27% or 0.45 points to 19.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 73 to 61 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.58% or 0.79 to $49.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.82% or 0.92 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.17% or 15.15 to trade at $1276.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.24% to 4.2318, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 93.89.
