Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Cement and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.64%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230), which rose 10.00% or 3.00 points to trade at 33.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 6.57% or 7.20 points to end at 116.80 and Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) was up 4.59% or 3.50 points to 79.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Advanced Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:2330), which fell 5.30% or 2.40 points to trade at 42.90 at the close. Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) declined 4.70% or 45.60 points to end at 924.40 and Sahara International Petrochemical Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2310) was down 4.25% or 1.45 points to 32.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 226 to 64 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Red Sea Housing Services Company (TADAWUL:4230) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.00% or 3.00 to 33.00. Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) rose to 5-year highs; rising 6.57% or 7.20 to 116.80.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.34% or 0.29 to $85.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.36% or 0.32 to hit $89.78 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 9.55 to trade at $2,392.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 3.99, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 105.90.
