Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Transport and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008), which rose 10.00% or 8.75 points to trade at 96.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 8.25% or 4.25 points to end at 55.75 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) was up 4.27% or 3.00 points to 73.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 7.95% or 1.05 points to trade at 12.15 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 4.11% or 0.60 points to end at 14.00 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was down 2.85% or 0.40 points to 13.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 87 to 49 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.32% or 0.61 to $46.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.71% or 0.34 to hit $47.94 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1274.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.27% to 4.2750, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 93.99.
