Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 5.80% or 0.40 points to trade at 7.30 at the close. Meanwhile, ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 5.45% or 2.10 points to end at 40.60 and Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140) was up 4.79% or 0.40 points to 8.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270), which fell 3.05% or 4.75 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:2180) declined 1.98% or 0.80 points to end at 39.70 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) was down 1.87% or 0.50 points to 26.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 80 to 54 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.04% or 1.00 to $48.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.71% or 0.85 to hit $48.87 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1214.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.10% to 4.1936, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 95.38.
