Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Real Estate Development sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 4.43% or 2.00 points to trade at 47.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) added 3.31% or 0.45 points to end at 14.05 and Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) was up 3.31% or 0.45 points to 14.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which fell 6.67% or 0.65 points to trade at 9.10 at the close. Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) declined 3.32% or 0.50 points to end at 14.55 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was down 3.10% or 1.20 points to 37.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 85 to 60 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.56% or 0.25 to $44.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.15% or 0.07 to hit $45.59 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.99% or 12.55 to trade at $1277.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.35% to 4.2801, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.31% at 93.93.
