Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Cement, Financial Services and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072), which rose 9.85% or 4.85 points to trade at 54.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) added 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) was up 7.14% or 5.00 points to 75.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320), which fell 9.28% or 8.00 points to trade at 78.20 at the close. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) declined 4.23% or 1.50 points to end at 33.95 and Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142) was down 4.03% or 3.90 points to 92.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 198 to 94 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.68% or 0.57 to $83.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.59% or 0.52 to hit $87.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.29% or 6.75 to trade at $2,340.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.26% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 105.64.
