Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which rose 9.95% or 3.00 points to trade at 33.15 at the close. Meanwhile, Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) added 5.22% or 5.80 points to end at 117.00 and Ataa Educational Co (SE:4292) was up 4.50% or 2.80 points to 65.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040), which fell 9.97% or 8.600 points to trade at 77.700 at the close. Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (SE:2281) declined 2.52% or 2.30 points to end at 89.00 and Bawan (SE:1302) was down 1.92% or 0.70 points to 35.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 133 to 74 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.22% or 5.80 to 117.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.10% or 0.94 to $86.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.28% or 1.12 to hit $88.30 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 11.30 to trade at $1841.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.2350, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7515.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 96.040.
