Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Petrochemicals, Building & Construction and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SE:1320), which rose 10.00% or 1.82 points to trade at 20.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 9.87% or 1.08 points to end at 12.02 and Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) was up 6.86% or 0.94 points to 14.64 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130), which fell 3.02% or 0.52 points to trade at 16.68 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 2.32% or 0.23 points to end at 9.67 and National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) was down 1.82% or 0.50 points to 27.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 101 to 67 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.32% or 0.23 to 9.67.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.01% or 0.01 to $68.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.61% or 0.47 to hit $76.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1217.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.35% to 4.3964, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 94.39.
