Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which rose 5.13% or 1.00 points to trade at 20.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (SE:1304) added 3.24% or 0.54 points to end at 17.20 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 2.67% or 0.36 points to 13.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which fell 3.19% or 2.90 points to trade at 88.00 at the close. Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (SE:4009) declined 2.50% or 1.05 points to end at 40.90 and Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) was down 2.50% or 1.40 points to 54.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 102 to 71 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (SE:4009) fell to all time lows; falling 2.50% or 1.05 to 40.90.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.11% or 0.07 to $65.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.48% or 0.34 to hit $71.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 2.80 to trade at $1182.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.20% to 4.2630, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 96.50.
