Investing.com – Philippines stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Property, Industrials and Mining & Oil sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Philippines, the PSEi Composite declined 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the PSEi Composite were International Container Terminal Services Inc (PS:ICT), which rose 3.36% or 3.150 points to trade at 96.800 at the close. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co (PS:MBT) added 2.84% or 2.40 points to end at 86.90 and PLDT Inc (PS:TEL) was up 1.92% or 33.00 points to 1755.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Universal Robina Corp (PS:URC), which fell 2.99% or 5.00 points to trade at 162.50 at the close. Semirara Mining Corp (PS:SCC) declined 2.03% or 3.30 points to end at 159.00 and Megaworld Corp (PS:MEG) was down 1.44% or 0.060 points to 4.120.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Philippines Stock Exchange by 122 to 82 and 33 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.36% or 4.39 to $1228.59 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.25% or 0.12 to hit $47.71 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 0.26% or 0.13 to trade at $50.64 a barrel.
CNY/PHP was down 0.28% to 7.2092, while USD/PHP fell 0.10% to 49.755.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 99.53.
