Investing.com – Peru stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Industrials and Non-Metal Minerals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General gained 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Trevali Mining (LM:TV), which rose 6.06% or 0.040 points to trade at 0.700 at the close. Meanwhile, Unacem (LM:CEL) added 3.38% or 0.090 points to end at 2.750 and Minsur (LM:MINi) was up 1.61% or 0.020 points to 1.260 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Panoro (LM:PML), which fell 4.58% or 0.006 points to trade at 0.125 at the close. Luz Del Sur (LM:LUZ) declined 0.89% or 0.100 points to end at 11.150 and Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) was down 0.87% or 0.050 points to 5.700.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 17 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.25% or 0.11 to $43.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $45.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.47% or 6.20 to trade at $1316.40 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.3890, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.7876.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 95.79.
