Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 1.19% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 2.82% or 100 points to trade at 3646 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 1.23% or 220 points to end at 18130 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) was up 0.95% or 560 points to 59790 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which fell 4.76% or 1660 points to trade at 33220 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 3.54% or 2070 points to end at 56460 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was down 2.79% or 39 points to 1360.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 97 and 115 ended unchanged.
Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.79% or 39 to 1360.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.11% or 1.05 to $48.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $50.68 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.47% or 6.00 to trade at $1275.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.8502, while EUR/ILS rose 0.60% to 4.2254.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 98.31.
