Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.65%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which rose 7.10% or 135.00 points to trade at 2,036.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) added 5.75% or 8,060.00 points to end at 148,250.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 4.98% or 250.00 points to 5,270.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which fell 1.59% or 1,460.00 points to trade at 90,320.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 1.59% or 1,070.00 points to end at 66,300.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 0.73% or 14.00 points to 1,908.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 343 to 134 and 62 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.83% or 0.72 to $86.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.04% or 0.95 to hit $90.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 2.75 to trade at $2,348.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.90% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS fell 1.94% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 103.94.
