Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.37%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT), which rose 3.59% or 65.00 points to trade at 1,878.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 3.50% or 65.00 points to end at 1,922.00 and Leumi (TASE:LUMI) was up 3.41% or 99.00 points to 2,998.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which fell 2.80% or 850.00 points to trade at 29,520.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.62% or 2,470.00 points to end at 91,780.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) was down 2.38% or 117.00 points to 4,800.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 293 to 165 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.16% or 0.14 to $86.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.23% or 0.21 to hit $90.86 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.76% or 40.60 to trade at $2,349.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.34% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 4.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 104.07.
