Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 6.48% or 1420 points to trade at 23350 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 4.67% or 500 points to end at 11210 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 4.12% or 1550 points to 39130 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 1.03% or 60 points to trade at 5770 at the close. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 0.20% or 180 points to end at 90000 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) was down 0.15% or 6 points to 4069.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 333 to 103 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) rose to all time highs; rising 6.48% or 1420 to 23350. Shares in Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) rose to all time highs; rising 4.12% or 1550 to 39130.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.51% or 0.85 to $57.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.95% or 0.56 to hit $59.56 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.33% or 23.90 to trade at $1815.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.05% to 3.2884, while EUR/ILS rose 0.68% to 3.9622.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 90.968.
