Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Communication and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 3.36% or 730 points to trade at 22450 at the close. Meanwhile, Shufersal (TASE:SAE) added 3.26% or 80 points to end at 2534 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 3.00% or 6.7 points to 230.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 2.48% or 1030 points to trade at 40570 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.60% or 39 points to end at 2392 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was down 0.85% or 110 points to 12790.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 115 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Melisron (TASE:MLSR) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.36% or 730 to 22450. Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.48% or 1030 to 40570.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.01% or 0.57 to $55.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.58% or 0.36 to hit $62.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.25 to trade at $1514.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.48% to 3.4885, while EUR/ILS fell 0.57% to 3.8135.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 98.722.
