Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 4.28% or 1,850.00 points to trade at 45,050.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 3.05% or 2,610.00 points to end at 88,170.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 2.82% or 145.00 points to 5,284.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 4.32% or 95.00 points to trade at 2,105.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) declined 2.37% or 180.00 points to end at 7,420.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 2.11% or 570.00 points to 26,480.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 220 to 220 and 104 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) fell to 3-years lows; losing 4.32% or 95.00 to 2,105.00. Shares in Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.37% or 180.00 to 7,420.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.80% or 1.54 to $83.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.67% or 1.50 to hit $88.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 12.85 to trade at $1,974.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 4.06, while EUR/ILS fell 0.72% to 4.30.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.62% at 105.99.
