Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite declined 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr), which rose 4.08% or 0.2000 points to trade at 5.1000 at the close. Meanwhile, Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) added 2.83% or 0.0600 points to end at 2.1800 and Select Textile (AT:EPIr) was up 2.45% or 0.004 points to 0.178 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr), which fell 6.78% or 0.410 points to trade at 5.640 at the close. Creta Plastics (AT:PLAKR) declined 4.17% or 0.250 points to end at 5.750 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 4.07% or 0.0070 points to 0.1650.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 65 to 33 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) rose to 3-years highs; up 4.08% or 0.2000 to 5.1000. Shares in Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.83% or 0.0600 to 2.1800.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.89% or 11.48 to $1276.02 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $57.14 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.16% or 0.10 to trade at $64.03 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.09% to 1.1652, while EUR/GBP fell 0.37% to 0.8823.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.34.
