Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities, Banking and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were AS Company SA (AT:ASCr), which rose 10.29% or 0.140 points to trade at 1.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Halcor (AT:XAKO) added 5.77% or 0.060 points to end at 1.100 and Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) was up 4.67% or 0.070 points to 1.570 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Select Textile (AT:EPIr), which fell 14.98% or 0.037 points to trade at 0.210 at the close. Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr) declined 4.00% or 0.070 points to end at 1.680 and Athens Medical (AT:AMCr) was down 3.65% or 0.050 points to 1.310.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 57 to 49 and 12 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.09% or 1.10 to $1287.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.29% or 0.15 to hit $51.41 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.51% or 0.29 to trade at $56.87 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.23% to 1.1814, while EUR/GBP rose 0.44% to 0.8808.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 92.95.
