Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.18% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intracom Hold (AT:INRr), which rose 7.76% or 0.045 points to trade at 0.625 at the close. Meanwhile, Flexopack SA (AT:FLXr) added 6.38% or 0.3000 points to end at 5.0000 and Elton S.A. (AT:ELNr) was up 5.00% or 0.070 points to 1.470 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Revoil Petrol (AT:REVr), which fell 9.22% or 0.053 points to trade at 0.522 at the close. Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) declined 3.97% or 0.005 points to end at 0.121 and Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr) was down 3.21% or 0.0090 points to 0.2710.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 57 to 45 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.44% or 5.40 to $1232.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.11% or 0.05 to hit $46.49 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.02% or 0.01 to trade at $48.90 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.03% to 1.1473, while EUR/GBP rose 0.35% to 0.8784.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 94.93.
