Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.35% or 0.0400 points to trade at 3.0120 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 0.93% or 0.034 points to end at 3.700 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.22% or 0.020 points to 9.085 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV), which fell 4.24% or 1.31 points to trade at 29.58 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) declined 2.71% or 0.94 points to end at 33.81 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMAS) was down 2.66% or 1.21 points to 44.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 112 to 69 and 6 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.73% or 0.35 to $47.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.20% or 0.53 to hit $43.76 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.13% or 1.40 to trade at $1089.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.22% to 1.0764, while EUR/GBP fell 0.24% to 0.7117.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.27% at 99.03.
