Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V), which rose 1.04% or 0.37 points to trade at 35.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) added 0.94% or 0.20 points to end at 21.51 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was up 0.84% or 0.38 points to 45.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which fell 3.82% or 0.67 points to trade at 16.87 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) declined 3.56% or 1.34 points to end at 36.31 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was down 2.97% or 0.185 points to 6.050.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 107 to 31 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.62% or 0.30 to $48.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.87% or 0.40 to hit $46.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.69 to trade at $1268.71 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.09% to 1.1205, while EUR/GBP rose 0.87% to 0.8854.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 97.21.
