Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HEL:OTE1V), which rose 2.78% or 0.092 points to trade at 3.398 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oil Oyj (HEL:NESTE) added 2.04% or 0.42 points to end at 20.99 and Outokumpu Oyj (HEL:OUT1V) was up 1.94% or 0.0400 points to 2.1000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TeliaSonera AB (HEL:TLS1V), which fell 2.63% or 0.126 points to trade at 4.672 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HEL:NOKIA) declined 1.88% or 0.115 points to end at 5.990 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HEL:NRE1V) was down 1.73% or 0.50 points to 28.41.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 70 and 7 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.69% or 0.34 to $48.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.22% or 0.10 to hit $45.19 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.00 to trade at $1114.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1190, while EUR/GBP fell 0.09% to 0.7382.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 96.24.
