Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 2.30% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 5.24% or 0.340 points to trade at 6.825 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA) added 4.50% or 1.50 points to end at 34.80 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) was up 4.45% or 1.25 points to 29.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 0.45% or 0.17 points to trade at 37.44 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) declined 0.15% or 0.01 points to end at 6.55 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.28% or 0.06 points to 21.47.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 105 to 36 and 12 ended unchanged.

Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.53% or 0.28 to $52.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.73% or 0.36 to hit $49.26 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 13.24 to trade at $1275.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 1.16% to 1.0852, while EUR/GBP rose 1.41% to 0.8488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.64% at 99.02.
