Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 1.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V), which rose 6.93% or 2.26 points to trade at 34.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) added 3.43% or 0.262 points to end at 7.906 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 2.69% or 0.70 points to 26.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB), which fell 0.11% or 0.05 points to trade at 47.04 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YIT) declined 0.07% or 0.01 points to end at 6.87 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was 0.00% or 0.0000 points to 6.3060.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 41 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 3.43% or 0.262 to 7.906.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 0.59% or 0.38 to $63.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.28% or 0.17 to hit $60.77 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.50 to trade at $1352.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.10% to 1.2463, while EUR/GBP fell 0.15% to 0.8883.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 88.83.
