Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.92% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.56% or 6.2 points to trade at 403.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) fell 0.60% or 2.8 points to end at 464.7 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 0.91% or 0.28 points to 30.44 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 5.69% or 63.0 points to trade at 1045.0 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 3.50% or 8.2 points to end at 226.3 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 3.09% or 5.5 points to 172.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 124 to 25 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.02% or 1.45 to $46.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.94% or 1.44 to hit $47.53 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.39% or 17.90 to trade at $1306.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.60% to 6.6447, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4356.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 95.08.
