Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.92% or 12.0 points to trade at 637.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.96% or 5.5 points to end at 579.0 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.61% or 1.80 points to 298.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which fell 2.76% or 3.60 points to trade at 126.80 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.54% or 37.0 points to end at 1417.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was down 1.95% or 5.6 points to 281.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 57 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; rising 0.61% or 1.80 to 298.20.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 4.77% or 2.30 to $45.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.83% or 1.92 to hit $48.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.69 to trade at $1292.81 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.6147, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4376.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 96.76.
