Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.92% or 8.3 points to trade at 440.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.25% or 4.9 points to end at 396.9 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.03% or 3.0 points to 295.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 1.47% or 3.3 points to trade at 220.7 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.44% or 18.0 points to end at 1233.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 1.19% or 5.3 points to 438.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 51 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.47% or 3.3 to 220.7. Shares in FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.03% or 3.0 to 295.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.19% or 0.09 to $48.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $49.16 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.84% or 22.25 to trade at $1188.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.62% to 7.0434, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4391.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 101.62.
