Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Chemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 0.30% or 0.80 points to trade at 268.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell 0.21% or 1.20 points to end at 564.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was down 0.49% or 2.60 points to 524.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 3.55% or 18.00 points to trade at 489.40 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 3.54% or 11.90 points to end at 324.00 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was down 3.26% or 4.15 points to 123.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 48 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.56% or 0.46 to $83.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.53% or 0.46 to hit $86.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.35 to trade at $1,947.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 102.65.
