Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.76% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.15% or 3.9 points to trade at 343.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 0.27% or 0.90 points to end at 338.00 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.16% or 0.8 points to 500.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 7.17% or 24.1 points to trade at 312.2 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.53% or 5.6 points to end at 360.8 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was down 1.28% or 3.0 points to 231.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 35 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.53% or 5.6 to 360.8.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.46% or 0.86 to $58.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.16% or 0.10 to hit $63.57 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.60% or 7.69 to trade at $1294.99 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.2498, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 92.78.
