Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.15% or 25.5 points to trade at 834.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.03% or 2.7 points to end at 135.9 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.03% or 17.0 points to 854.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 0.69% or 1.8 points to trade at 259.7 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.60% or 1.9 points to end at 315.3 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 0.58% or 0.18 points to 30.71.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 91 to 53 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 3.38% or 1.30 to $37.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.98% or 0.80 to hit $39.59 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.23% or 15.50 to trade at $1243.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 6.7229, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4577.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.42% at 96.63.
