Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.84%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 6.77% or 20.2 points to trade at 318.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.92% or 27.5 points to end at 970.5 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.78% or 1.15 points to 65.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 2.97% or 25.0 points to trade at 818.0 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.55% or 3.5 points to end at 637.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.46% or 1.3 points to 281.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 58 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; up 2.92% or 27.5 to 970.5.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.91% or 0.40 to $43.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.16% or 0.53 to hit $45.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1252.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.5864, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 94.53.
