Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which rose 2.83% or 18.0 points to trade at 654.5 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.81% or 7.6 points to end at 278.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 2.61% or 16.0 points to 629.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 0.39% or 1.4 points to trade at 358.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.42% or 1.10 points to end at 261.60 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 0.71% or 0.9 points to 128.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 113 to 45 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in ISS A/S (CO:ISS) rose to all time highs; rising 0.42% or 1.10 to 261.60.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.60% or 0.23 to $38.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.95% or 0.38 to hit $40.23 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.69% or 8.50 to trade at $1229.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.5796, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4519.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 94.87.
