Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 2.31% or 0.72 points to trade at 31.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.73% or 8.3 points to end at 487.3 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.43% or 3.60 points to 255.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 1.11% or 5.0 points to trade at 446.4 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.88% or 0.55 points to end at 62.15 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.78% or 2.4 points to 303.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 67 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.52% or 0.76 to $49.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.52% or 0.77 to hit $49.88 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.65% or 21.35 to trade at $1270.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.59% to 6.6108, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.44% at 94.09.
