Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 5.29% or 9.15 points to trade at 182.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.37% or 5.95 points to end at 182.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.94% or 21.00 points to 1,103.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 1.43% or 5.50 points to trade at 379.60 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.57% or 5.20 points to end at 900.80 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was down 0.52% or 2.00 points to 385.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.36% or 0.30 to $81.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.45% or 0.39 to hit $86.90 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 2.70% or 65.25 to trade at $2,348.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.06.
