Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.66% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.13% or 22.0 points to trade at 1053.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.60% or 5.6 points to end at 356.3 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.46% or 9.5 points to 659.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 1.22% or 4.20 points to trade at 340.50 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 0.61% or 3.0 points to end at 485.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.46% or 1.4 points to 301.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.38% or 0.22 to $58.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.29% or 0.19 to hit $64.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1271.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.00% to 6.2709, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4444.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 92.86.
