Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 1.33% or 7.50 points to trade at 570.00 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 1.17% or 1.95 points to end at 168.90 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.08% or 11.50 points to 1,078.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which fell 2.48% or 51.00 points to trade at 2,007.00 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.96% or 7.50 points to end at 375.90 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was down 1.62% or 14.80 points to 900.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 62 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.43% or 1.22 to $84.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.52% or 1.37 to hit $88.65 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 7.55 to trade at $2,400.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 106.04.
